{"data":{"site":{"siteMetadata":{"title":"Five minutes dev tip","author":"Rodrigo Morales"}},"markdownRemark":{"id":"16eea3b4-e7f3-59b9-ab75-82895a3a5578","excerpt":"By reading  Dave Cedia’s  blog post about\nbuilding a blog with  GatsbyJS , I felt encouraged to build my own.\nAfter kicking around the idea of what should my…","html":"<p>By reading <a href=\"https://daveceddia.com/start-blog-gatsby-netlify/\">Dave Cedia’s</a> blog post about\nbuilding a blog with <a href=\"https://www.gatsbyjs.org/\">GatsbyJS</a>, I felt encouraged to build my own.\nAfter kicking around the idea of what should my blog be, I asked myself\n“What kind of blog posts are interesting for me as a developer?”,\nthrough this question I ended up with the following list:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Short blog posts that provide substancial and interesting information</li>\n<li>Short and educational blog posts</li>\n<li>Blog posts that I can put in practice as I read through them</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Based on these answers I came up with the idea of a blog with posts\nthat can be read in 5 minutes, with content oriented for developers and\neducational so it can be used as “tips” for daily tasks.</p>\n<p>Once the idea was solidified, I decided to name it: </p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>FMDT - Five Minutes Dev Tip</p>\n</blockquote>\n<h3>Who am I?</h3>\n<p>I’m a software developer, I’ve worked with web development languages since 2013. Born\nin Guatemala and currently a resident in Sacramento, CA. I’ve been living in the US\nfor 4 years now. I’ve worked for product based companies and as a consultant, some of\nthe companies I’ve worked projects for are StarMedia, Retail Pro, Siemens, Ericsson,\nEKA Solutions, and Volvo. </p>\n<p>I currently work for Volvo Luxe team at their San Francisco office. I enjoy a nice\nbike ride along the river. I’m a petrol head, I have profound love for classic european\ncars, currently I’m working on restoring a 318is e30.</p>\n<p>This is my first post on my new blog! How exciting!\nI’m sure I’ll write a lot more interesting things in the future, so stay tuned.</p>","frontmatter":{"title":"What is this?","date":"February 09, 2019"}}},"pageContext":{"slug":"/what-is-this/","previous":null,"next":null}}
